Difficulty with night vision is a very common problem, most people notice that the problem becomes more pronounced while driving. This nocturnal myopia can cause frustration, anxiety, and possibly even an accident. Here at Eyedentity Eyewear we are happy to announce that we have a new product designed specifically for this problem: Tag Heuer Night Vision glasses.

This technology is brand new to our office, but thus far we are hearing nothing but positive feedback. The lenses are described by Tag Heuer as “ Special pale yellow lenses which enhance night-time contrasts, giving an impression of luminosity. Shamir Relax

We have a new lens in the office that we are all very excited about. It’s called the Shamir Relax lens. This lens is for those of us who suffer from “visual fatigue”, which is basically when our eyes become weary due to working non-stop throughout the day. Whether it’s caused by excessive computer use, or staring for hours on end at all of that pesky paperwork, this lens will ease the strain and relieve the toll your eyes take on a daily basis. The Relax is actually a single vision product with just the right amount of add power, .65D ADD to be exact, engineered into the bottom of the lens. Summer is in full swing and getting outdoors to enjoy the weather is a must. Protecting your eyes from Ultraviolet light is just as important as using sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. If you are going to the lake for fun in the sun, going to a ball game, or just lounging by the pool or in the backyard, don’t forget a quality pair of sunglasses to maximize your vision and protect your eyes from the sun’s damaging rays.

Not all sunglasses are created equal. There are many sunglasses available that do not offer UV protection. The lenses are simply tinted, or there is a coating that is on the lens that is easily removed after several cleanings or wear. A good quality pair of sunglasses will have the UV protection embedded in the lens. This gives maximum protection from the sun’s UV light rays.

Getting a pair of lenses polarized helps cut down on glare that is being reflected from the sun from various surfaces. This will make driving during the day easier, as glare is reduced from reflective surfaces of other vehicles. Polarization is also a must if you are out on the water, for fishing, or for boating. The glare from the surface of the water is reduced allowing more comfortable vision, reducing squinting, which can cause wrinkles, and allowing vision to be enhanced from the distractions of the reflected light.
