Dr. Shelley Williams

Dr. Williams has been in private optometric practice since 1991.   After her training, she returned to her home town of Arlington, Texas to practice.  She and her family decided to settle in Columbia in 1996.  She went into solo practice and started Georgetown Vision Center in 1996.  In June 2007, she moved the practice to a new larger location to enable the addition of Dr. Scott Hussey to the practice. The practice name changed to Eyedentity Eyewear for the optical shop and Williams & Hussey Eyecare for the patient care area of the practice. Personal interests: Most important is spending time with her husband, Barry, and children, Caitlin and Colin.  Her next great love is traveling, especially when there is a chance to snorkel.  She also enjoys snow skiing and gardening.

Dr. Scott Hussey

Dr. Hussey has been working with Dr. Williams in private practice since 2005.  He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, and Central Missouri Optometric Society.  He is a provider for the Infantsee program, which provides free vision and eye health assessments for infants.  Dr. Hussey enjoys wakeboarding, snow skiing, and playing golf.  He also enjoys Saturdays at Faurot Field to cheer on the University of Missouri Tigers.
