At Williams and Hussey Eyecare, we are committed to technology upgrades.  The Optical Coherence Tomographer, or OCT by Zeiss, provides the latest in diagnostic insight for a broad range of ocular diseases. 

The OCT uses a near-infrared frequency light that reveals a cross-sectional view of retinal layers.  This allows our doctors to examine the eyes of our patients more meticulously than ever.  The OCT will aid in detecting very minor changes in the layers of the retina that are associated with diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma, along with other diseases of the eye.  The earlier these changes are detected, the sooner treatment can begin and vision be saved or restored.
